Chantry Squash Club is part of the Bishop's Stortford Sports Trust, which also consists of Bishop's Stortford Cricket, Hockey and Tennis Clubs. All clubs are located at the same site and share the Charles Edwards Pavilion.
We have two courts that are always available for members, changing and showering facilities for both male and female members, and also a viewing area. We welcome players of all standards and all ages, and we pride ourselves on our family club approach.
The Pavilion, overlooking the cricket ground, is the location for social events held throughout the year. These include quizzes, barbecues and discos.
For the competitive player, we have very active leagues and ladders. We run two club nights, currently Wednesday evenings from 7.30pm and Sunday evenings from 6.00pm.
We run two competitions during the year (one handicapped) for all members and categories (Main, ladies, over 45s and juniors), both culminating in Finals nights.
We also have teams in the Hertfordshire squash league.
The courts cost £4.20 for 45 minute court time with an additional £1.00 to book a court.
We run a well supported junior coaching section on Sunday mornings.
